We hosted our Allianz Cumann na mBunscol blitz today at Na Piarsaigh Eanach Mór, where we invited many other schools from the surrounding area to come and enjoy a day of fun filled football. The hard work and practice that the girls and boys are doing at Naomh Eoin, at home and in school was obvious for all to see as both our teams played brilliantly, showing fantastic attitude and effort as well as superb skills!
Thank you to the pupils and teachers from St. Malachy’s, Armagh, St. Peter’s, Collegeland, St. Mary’s, Maghery, St Oliver Plunkett’s, Ballyhegan, Ballyoran PS and St Jarlath’s Blackwatertown for attending and representing their schools so well.
A special thanks goes to members of Na Piarsaigh Eanach Mór who volunteered their time to lay out pitches, prepare food, referee games, set up and clean the clubhouse in preparation for the day.
We are looking forward to getting back to practising our skills and preparing for our next blitz!
