The pupils in Primary 1-5 are fortunate to be receiving a handwriting programme delivered by Catherine Doran from the RISE team. Over the next 6 weeks pupils will work on developing their gross movement skills initially and eventually their fine motor skills. The aim is that pupils will gain greater control over muscles in different parts of their bodies and in doing so enhance their pencil control, leading to improved handwriting. The children enjoyed the first day of games and activities in Na Piarsaigh Eanach Mór football club. Thanks to Catherine for a great session!
