P6/7 Sentence Structure
23rd Sep 2024
Our P6/7 class have started the year by using an active approach to sentence structure.
Working in pairs they created sentences by adding specific word types to Post-It notes then arranging them.
We explored how difficult it can be to be tied into a certain number of words and how adding extra words can often make sentences easier.
Finally, we looked at the role of conjunctions in making sentences longer and more interesting.
