Today our P5/6 and 7 children attended the Pearse Og Primary School Tournament.
Our girls’ team played extremely well winning one match and producing some excellent performances. They were unlucky to be defeated in the semi final.
Our boys’ team started slowly drawing their first game and losing narrowly in their second match. However, they never looked back after this and qualified for the semi final of the shield. It was in the semi final and final where the boys played their best football and emerged winners of the shield competition.
Well done to all our children who represented our school with pride and congratulations to our boys who came home with the silverware.
