Sustrans Stroll to School
24th Oct 2017
Pupils and staff walked along Eglish Road to school this morning to raise awareness of more sustainable methods of travel. The boys and girls wore brightly coloured clothes and enjoyed starting the day with a fresh walk. Dave from Sustrans joined us and presented the boys and girls with a flashing light for use when walking and cycling on the road and also with pencils made from recycled CD covers!
Eco-Club pupils then enjoyed a visibilty experiment with Dave discussing the best colours and clothes to wear in daylight and in the dark when walking, cycling and scooting on the road.
